During your breast lift consultation be prepared to discuss the following:
- Your surgical goals: Your desired outcomes and reasons for the surgery
- Medical history: Conditions, drug allergies and medical treatments
- Current medications: These include vitamins, herbal supplements, alcohol, tobacco and drug use
- Previous surgeries: Any past procedures you have undergone
- Family history of breast cancer: Relevant family medical history.
- Mammograms/Biopsy results: Any previous imaging or biopsy results.
Your surgeon may also:
- Health Evaluation: Asses your overall health and identify any risk factors.
- Breast Examination: Measure size, shape, skin quality, and nipple/areola placement.
- Photographs: Take detailed photos for medical records.
- Options and Recommendations: Discuss treatment options and recommend the best course of action.
- Outcome and Risks: Explain likely results, potential risks, and complications.
- Anesthesia: Discuss the use of anesthesia during the procedure
