Description

I did my clinical rotations in various mental health institutions, starting at Hospital San José, where I was part of the Young & Strong research protocol of the Breast Cancer Treatment Center of the same hospital. Also, in the Psychiatric Rehabilitation Unit, I was part of the team of psychologists to offer psychological support to psychiatric patients. I have also worked with children on the autism spectrum at the HOGA Center, supporting language therapy and equine therapy.
I had the opportunity to participate in the psychological intervention of children with neurodevelopmental disorders at the Niño Jesús Children’s Hospital in Madrid, Spain and return to Monterrey to rotate at the CAABI (Comprehensive Well-Being Attention Center); offering attention
Psychology for emotional problems, psychological evaluations and referral to specialized centers through individual and group therapy.

I currently work at ASFM (American School Foundation) as Inclusion Assistant, where I support elementary school children academically, socially and emotionally. Mainly to find a group to belong to, adapt the academic content to their own abilities, improve their socialization strategies and create a totally inclusive environment.
